***If you are staying in the dorms you need to come to the lobby for roll call between 8am-11am. If you are not already a part of a tour, you must always check-out with at least one other person and tell us where you are going! There will be limited areas to which you can check out. You can check-out any time after 8:00am but before 9:30pm. The only exception is a parent check out or if you have made prior arrangements and a letter is on file in the office.


9:00am to 12:30pm

morning tours

Beacon Hill/Boston Common and Freedom Trail

This tour will walk through the park, to Beacon Hill area shops, Cheers, walk past the State House and then take a walk on the Freedom Trail. Tour will leave at 9:30 am and will return at 12:30pm.  Maximum 30

Boston Common/Public Garden/Copley Square/Newbury Street Shops/Prudential

Great shopping! Just across the street from the Copley stop is the Boston Public. The group will walk through Boston Common and the Public Garden, and then proceed to spend time shopping in the Newbury Street/Prudential/Copley Square area. Tour will leave at 9:30 am and will return at 12:30pm. Maximum 30

harvard square

Harvard Square Group will walk to Downtown Crossing Redline Station where they will take a Red Line Train to Harvard Campus, Cambridge,  and Harvard Square Shopping. Lots of shops, bookstores, and more food! Just think Harvard Tournament without a long day of competition or the snow! On your return take a redline train toward Braintree and your stop will be Downtown Crossing. 10 minutes by train (once you board). Tour will leave at 9:30am and will return at 12:30pm.  Maximum 45 students.

quincy market/faneuil hall/aquarium

Group will walk to this location through Downtown Crossing where you can shop, see the Harbor, visit the Aquarium. Tour will leave at 9:30 am and will return at 12:30pm.  Maximum 30 students

north end (italian district) tour

The easiest way to get there is to take the Orange Line from Downtown Crossing to Haymarket:  Outside of the stop you can follow the signs for the North End. Hanover Street is the most famous. Mike’s Pastries is a must! There are lots of shops, food, and historic sights in this area. It takes about 15 minutes by train and then five minutes of walking. Tour group will leave at 2pm and will return at 6:00pm.  Maximum 30 students
